Personal data according to the GDPR are all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes direct information such as name, address, and email, but also indirect data such as IP addresses, location data, vehicle registration plates, or pseudonymised data that make a person uniquely identifiable through their combination. Particularly sensitive are "special categories" such as health data, genetic data, data on political or religious beliefs, or biometric data.
